VASYL SUKHOMLYNSKY ON THE ESSENCE OF PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS

Abstract

The main views of the world-famous Ukrainian pedagogue-humanist Vasyl Sukhomlynsky on the improvement of pedagogical skills, as well as the technology of realization of this problem in the work of a modern teacher are presented. The skill of the teacher is reflected by him in many works and in the dissertation research "The school director is the head of educational work". He believed that the process of formation of pedagogical skills is long, begins in a pedagogical school and lasts a lifetime. Knowing the child is one of the most important elements of a teacher's pedagogical skills. Humanism is one of the main features of the teacher, which plays a constructive role in improving pedagogical skills. Pedagogical culture is of great importance for the development of teachers' pedagogical skills. Professional independence and creative teacher activity acts as a necessary completion of the process of forming a master of pedagogical work. The creative heritage of a teacher-innovator makes it possible to identify its components: humanism, professional competence, pedagogical abilities, pedagogical interaction. Implementation of the Concept "New Ukrainian School" requires a master teacher. A valuable contribution to the theory and practice of this issue was made by the outstanding Ukrainian humanist teacher V.O. Sukhomlinsky.
